Welcome to The Outpour Church (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information when you opt-in to receive text (SMS) messages from us.

This policy applies solely to personal information collected in connection with our SMS/text message communications (the “Program”).  It works in conjunction with our general church privacy practices but focuses on mobile phone data use for text messaging.

- Message metadata (time, carrier, delivery data)
- SMS replies and interaction data

3. How We Use Information
We use your information to send:
- Church announcements, devotionals, service reminders
- Administrative updates or confirmations

4. Consent & Opt-In / Opt-Out
By opting in, you provide express written consent to receive recurring texts from The Outpour Church. 
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. 
To unsubscribe, reply “STOP.” You may rejoin by replying “START.”

5. Information Sharing
We never sell your number. We may share limited information with service providers to operate the program, who are required to protect your data.

6. Data Security & Retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and retain opt-in/opt-out records as required by law.

7. Your Rights
You may request to review, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting privacy@outpourchurch.org.

8. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If discovered, such data will be deleted.

9. Updates to Policy
We may update this policy periodically and post the revised version on our website.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

1. Program Description
The Outpour Church may use text messaging to communicate with members and visitors about services, events, volunteer opportunities, and other church-related updates. Message frequency varies.

2. Consent
By opting in, you consent to receive recurring text messages from The Outpour Church.  Messages may be sent via auto-dialer. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

3. Opt-Out
Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe or “HELP” for assistance. For further help, contact privacy@outpourchurch.org or call 931-545-4545.

4. Message Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service may not be available on all networks.

5. Privacy
Your information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and never sold or rented to third parties.

6. Eligibility
Participants must be 13 years or older and authorized users of the mobile device provided.

7. Prohibited Use
You may not use this program for unlawful or abusive purposes. Violation may result in termination and reporting to authorities.

8. Termination & Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS program at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

9. Liability
The Outpour Church is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your participation in the SMS program.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State].
